The antidote day after a yesterday of negativity?

16 Mar 2022

Dear readers,

I have asked LPG to indulge me for a second day running, because the message I was trying my best to spread yesterday was designed to dissuade all from thinking positively, or at all.  Today brings with it a celebration of all thoughts and deeds.

Today is ‘Everything You Do Is Right Day’, a day when no one can do any wrong according to the annual celebration calendar, so while yesterday was dedicated to not thinking in the wrong way, action is the way forward today.  I hope that there is enough of the day left, after readers have read my message, to get out there and do something a little risqué that you might well have been thinking about (until you were dissuaded from doing so yesterday).  According to the rules of this celebration you cannot go wrong today.

Today is the day to let at least one of those thought nuggets loose, and turn it from thought to deed, because after a day of thought repression, and with the promise of positivity in everything you do today, it occurs to me that it might be a day to rectify some of the mistakes of recent times. Every now and then I find myself in a situation where something went wrong and there are a couple of ways of approaching the fixing process; especially when it comes to those faux pas which affect our relationships and our lives.  Perhaps today is the day to make a choice and begin the healing process if nothing can go wrong.

If you are nearly always the pessimist, or at least the person who errs on the side of caution, and you really want to take a risk, today has to be the best day to do it.  At least if you do whatever it is today, the one day in the year when nothing can go wrong, there should be a positive outcome.

Of course it may be too late to achieve your most outlandish goal today, because these things sometimes need a little more preparation than there is time to put in place with so little of just one day’s notice, so perhaps the rest of today can be used to begin the process for next year, which will hopefully be a year when the grip that Covid-19 has had over us for so long might be well and truly over.

Don’t just think it... do it, and do it today!
