Finding a public toilet in Lewisham borough…

17 Nov 2020

Dear LPG,

I know that this message will not mean much to most of the people that read LPG pages but as we get older, a growing number of us will appreciate knowing where to find a public toilet when visiting the borough of Lewisham.

The public conveniences in our parks and train stations are likely to be more well-known, but more and more shops, restaurants and other places where you won’t have to buy something to use the service are now also becoming more accessible.

I was sent information about the map of Lewisham which takes a look at it from an interesting viewpoint and thought it worth bringing to the attention of our readers for two reasons.

The first is that, yes, even toilets have a national day although I am not sure if LPG will be able to post this message in time for that celebration on November 19 this year, and my second reason is to remind readers that, even though the days of the public street toilets with their attendants are over, the geography of our borough now boasts many places where one can go if the need arises.

The fact that a community toilet is available will be signified by a window sticker.  I just thought that those among us who need this facility more often than others might appreciate this information.
