The importance of house arrest for your pets…

05 Nov 2018

Dear LPG

I know it is said every year but I would like to remind the pet owning readers of this site that we have again arrived at the three days in the year when it is really important that we make sure that our pets are not left outside.

I feel the need to protect my cats but I also know that dogs and many other small pets can regard the week that surrounds November the 5th as their Halloween non-celebration.

These days the fireworks don’t start ringing in our ears quite as early in the year as they used to a few years ago, but we all know that our cats especially have a way of doing their own thing regardless of the instructions that we give them.

So I just want to remind readers to shut the cat flaps and batten down the rabbit hutches in good time for the ensuing annual celebrations that affect the ears and eyes of the youngsters perhaps a little more favourably than those of elders and pets.

This year November 3rd, 5th and 10th are the dates to be aware of and LPG has found some information about ways that you can best help pets through this time.
